In 2004, NAII (National Association of Independent Insurers) and AAI (American Association of Insurers) merged into the Property and Casualty Insurers Association of America (PCI) which is now the nation's largest full-service property/casualty trade association, representing over 1,000 companies that write 38 percent of the nation's automobile, homeowners, business, and workers' compensation insurance.
